About Draycote Miracles

The Miracle Fleet at Draycote is friendly and active, with a number of events running throughout the year. If you are considering becoming a member of the sailing club, we suggest you take a look at the Miracle dinghy.

The boat is a two-man, one design class and those used for racing tend to have a spinnaker. Unlike some classes, you do not need a new boat to be competitive and Miracles can be sailed by all ages, sizes and abilities. It is an ideal boat to buy after taking a level 2 sailing course.

The fleet at Draycote has over 35 boats, of which quite a few race regularly in the Sunday and Wednesday evening series, joined by others on a more occasional basis. Others choose to cruise throughout the week, whenever they can make it, whether or not there is racing on.

We welcome new members whatever their experience and aims. If you would like to have a go in a Miracle or find out more about the Fleet, crewing or buying a boat, please get in touch via the Draycote Water Sailing Club Office.
